Is Gmail going to be released soon

That is the million dollar question. Why, I have a gut feeling that they really do- a huge wave of gmail invitations has swamped me gmail account (together with those of me family members) recently even though i have gmail for quite some time now.

well, i really hope they dont cos it'll really lose the novelty factor, not 2 mention the fact that you cant use those invites google gives you in exchange 4 something nice (like lackeys :D).

anyhow, gmail still rocks, though i think that it could still b very much improved- better spam filters anyone?
