Google Desktop: The bottom line

Google is definitely one stellar company- I'm a huge fan of almost all of the products and services offered by their company: Google for searching, Gmail for email, Google Answers for technical questions from Linux problems to science questions, Google News for searching for suitable articles for my economics internal assesments, Google Images for pics, Hello for uploading all the pics you see in this blog, traded Adobe's Photoshop Album for Picasa, and NOW, im beta testing one of Google's latest offering: Google desktop.

Here's what i think so far of Google desktop: it's powerful. And safe of cos for you paranoid folks. Google should, however, later release a stripped down versions of this for public computers (like for use in schools). The only criticisms I have: 1) Partial support for Mozilla's Firefox and 2) No support for Gmail. But then again, this is the first beta that's been released (just yesterday). I'm definitely looking foward to an upgrade for this functionalities soon. But in the meantime, keep up the fantastic job again, Google!
